Program Highlights

Friday

"To you it has been given to know the secrets of the Kingdom of God." How has Jesus' saying been understood? The saying's context. Related sayings uttered by Jesus.

Did Jesus use parables with the deliberate intention of concealing his message? Jewish parables and their teaching function. Examples of parables in Jesus' and the rabbis' teachings that clarify a verse of Scripture.

The meaning of Jesus' words, "so that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand"

Lk. 4:18-19, Isaiah 61, the extra words, and the implications, for our understanding of the messianic task, of this strange manner of quoting Scripture?

Saturday

Satan falling from heaven, babes and infants receiving hidden revelation (Luke 10). Who are the babes?

What did Jesus mean when he said: "No one knows who the Father is except those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him"?
